I, Ian Borella, had adventure was running through my veins from day 1.  Camping and road trips were a regular thing growing up.  My Dad took me to nearly all 50 states before i was 18.  Seeing The Rockies, Sierras, and Canada and the East coast.  Some of my favorite places growing up were Sequoia National Forest, Redwoods National Forest, and Lake Tahoe. 

 

Nicole, My wife. She actually lacked adventure and road trips growing up.  Camping was a bit of a stretch for her as she preferred hotels, so you see the challenge presented when creating creature comforts for the middle of nowhere. I was initially shocked as to how well she adapted to the camping culture. Nicole has proven herself to be a solid companion on the road. Our initial trip was to colorado springs and the surrounding areas. She has since, been serveral other areas and we continue to build an ever-growing list of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Makayla's quest for adventure, learning, and just being outdoors is vast to say the least.  She enjoys off road adventures (because she is the co-pilot and can sit up front) through Illinois, Indiana, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and of course California. Makayla has started her own thoughts on travel and adventure. Mountain biking is on the top of the list and hiking to remote areas is as well for her.

Both Nicole and I work full time so this is our weekend and vacation adventures.  We are not in anyway sponsored or affiliated with any one specific.  Any equipment we use is only because it fits both our needs and budget.
